FINANCIAL PERFORMANCE ANALYSIS BY GREY RELATIONAL ANALYSIS METHOD: AN APPLICATION ON IRON AND STEEL COMPANIES TRADED IN BIST

چکیده

Demir çelik üretimi, ülke ekonomilerinde önemli göstergelerden biridir. Sanayi gelişimine büyük katkı sağlayan bu sektörde yaşanan gelişmeler refahı ve istihdamı üzerinde etkili sonuçlar doğurmaktadır. Özellikle üretim sektörü sürekliliği reel ekonominin gelişmesine ivme kazandıran demir sektörünün önemi gün geçtikçe artmaktadır. Bu çalışmada BIST Ana Metal Endeksi (XMANA) kapsamında bulunan dört şirketinin 2011-2019 yılları arasındaki finansal performanslarının çok kriterli karar verme problemi olarak değerlendirilerek incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Performans analizinde yöntemlerinden Gri İlişkisel Analiz (GİA) yöntemi kullanılmıştır. sektöründe yer alan şirketlerin yıllarına ait yedi adet oran (maliyet kârlılık oranları) kriter belirlenmiştir. Kriterler ile tek bir puana çevrilerek her yıla performans sıralamaları yapılmıştır. Çalışma sonucunda, açısından en başarılı 2011 2013 yıllarında EREGL, 2012 yılında KRDM 2014-2019 döneminde ise ISDMR olduğuna ulaşılmıştır.
